Read MoreThe Brooks 130 stairlift with folding powered rail offers a solution when space at the bottom of the staircase is limited. If you have a doorway or walkway at the bottom of the stairs with no space available for the stairlift to park, then this is when a folding rail track is needed.
A folding powered rail allows you to get off the stairlift safely at the bottom, once off then the stairlift can be sent up the stairs by remote control to park. The powered folding rail will then automatically fold up leaving your doorway / walkway free of any obstruction. Powered folding rails are much easier to use because then don't require the user to manually fold/ unfold the hinge.
Offering low maintenance, super reliability and ease of use - the Brooks stairlift is a popular choice. It also offers a comfortable ride along the stairs due to its quiet and smooth operation, comfortable seating position and soft stop and start system.
The Brooks stairlift can be installed on a variety of straight staircases, including steep, long and narrow. The neat, slim stairlift track is tailored to fit your stairs exactly and can be installed on the left or right hand side of the stairs.
EXPRESS DELIVERY within 1-3 working day’s from FREE home survey is available on this model.

The bottom part of the stairlift rail automatically folds upwards when not required. This is powered by a motor so no effort from the user is required.
The remote controls allow operation of the stairlift without anyone in it. They are particularly handy when using a powered hinged rail - move the stairlift from the bottom and then the track folds upwards out of the way.
The lever contols are very simple to use and are placed at the end of both armrests. Light pressure will gently move the stairlift up or down the stairlift rail.
The seat belt should be used for extra security whilst using the stairlift. It comfortably fits around the waist. Once finished, it neatly retracts away to the side.
The pressure sensors are located around the foot plate and the sides of the carriage, they will stop the stairlift instantly if it encounters an obstruction.
No electrical work is required for the installation of a stairlift - all that is required is standard plug socket near the top or bottom of staircase.
You can lock and deactivate the Brooks 130 Stairlift when required. Simply turn the key and remove.
The arms, footplate and seat can be folded upwards to create space when the stairlift is not required.
The safety belt can be used for extra security whilst using the stairlift along the staircase. It can be neatly retracted after use.
