It contains detailed information on how to maintain, adapt or improve your home or release equity from it, find care or home help services, find and move to retirement housing or choose a care home where you will feel at home.
It also specialises in all forms of 'housing-with-care' including extra care housing, assisted living and retirement villages.
The site is run by the charity Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC), and backed up by our telephone Advice Line.

EAC Quality of Information Mark (QI Mark)
Audley and Redditch Borough Council were awarded QI Marks this week, Audley for Mote House, its new mixed tenure development of 'extra-care' and independing living properties in Maidstone, and Redditch BC for its extra-care scheme in Batchley. The EAC Quality of Information Mark (QI Mark) aims to encourage housing providers to present detailed and accurate information on this website about their specialist housing provision. 1,874 schemes have now received the award since it's launch last November.
